Massage & Spa

* NOTE:  SM Kenko is under renovation

Hydrojet Massage

The first of its kind in Manila, the pool invites tired urbanites to immerse in its curative waters. Jetting out water with powerful pressure, the constant kinetic force massages your muscles with just the right amount of strength.

Massage Services

Feel the tropical sensuality of virgin coconut oil, or the smooth yet non-greasy glide of mineral oils from Switzerland, all steeped in nature-inspired aromas. Masseurs and masseuses, who have undergone rigid training, specialize in Shiatsu, Swedish, Thai massage, and combinations of any of the three.

Indigenous Philippine and Asian Spa Services

Mining the impressive physical therapy tradition of Asia and Old Philippines, SM Kenko pampers you with folk-influenced spa services: Japanese Shitao Stone Body and Face Treatment, Dagdagay, Hilot, and Damong Maria Bentosa – experiences that are not to be missed.

Dry Sauna and Steam Room

With temperatures playing at around 40° Centigrade, which is scientifically suited for Philippine humidity, you are guaranteed to experience nothing but therapeutic heat that gently opens up your pores and flushes out toxins. Our Steam Room notably uses yomogi grass, for added medicinal value and a true aromatherapy experience.

Benefits of Sauna and Steam-bath
Steam is an excellent treatment for respiratory problems: chest congestion, bronchitis, laryngitis and sinusitis. Revives tired and strained muscles. Relieves pain and stiffness of arthritis. The cleansing effect of profuse perspiration helps provide healthy skin and a clear complexion.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and medications that may impair sweating and produce overheating before and after your sauna. Stay in no more than 15-20 minutes. Cool down gradually afterward. Drink two to four glasses of cool water for each sauna session. Do not take a sauna when you are ill, and if you feel unwell during your sauna, head for the door. Be sure to remove contact lenses before entering the sauna. Pregnant women should avoid sauna and steam-baths altogether.
